The day you become hoggish, and hope to get "lucky", is the time you squander all of your money. Seems a bit strange, but it appears to be real. It seems the only time I ever come away with money is when I do not worry about losing it. I went to the the casino the other evening with $20. I could not care any less about blowing it, I mean, what is twenty dollars? So can you imagine what happened? I left with $120 profit in just one hour!
A different time I was at the casino with my friend Ben. I took with me $100 that I could not afford to lose. I got greedy, I got terrified, and I ended up wagering too much and squandered it in 30 minutes! The lesson my friends is never bet anymore than you can commit to lose. If you don’t care about not winning, you have a greater chance of profiting big!
How else can you enhance your chances of succeeding at Roulette other than creating a budget? Never bet on single numbers! Yes, they come up occasionally, but they don’t come up enough to ensure a constant profit. Just bet on 1:1 wagers e.g. black, red, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 wagers e.g. 1st 12, second dozen, 3rd 12, etc Wager on odds that pay out fairly high.
With the basics reviewed, how else might we further elevate our chances of succeeding at Roulette? By making probability into our ally, instead of our mortal enemy. "You can not be a winner at Roulette", my buddy Matt would say to me. "It is absolutely arbitrary because any number might come up". Sure, my friend Jeff does have a point, although at the same instance, he is missing a critical aspect of the picture. I absolutely agree, red or black could come up 30 times in a row, but how often does that happen?
